Festival of Light at the Outpost
Join the Given Tufts Foundation at the Outpost during the annual Village of Pinehurst tree lighting ceremony on Friday, December 6th, for holiday treats, hot chocolate, and letter-writing, as well as a raffle for a gorgeous one-of-a-kind nativity from acclaimed local potter Crystal King.
BOOKtoberfest!
Join the Given Tufts Foundation in bidding "Auf Wiedersehen" to the old and "Hallo" to the new-to-us, all while enjoying the Oktoberfestivities in the village!
Bring all your used books to the Outpost, and shop the tables for new-to-you finds!
Playful Learning
Open playtime every Tuesday from 10am - 2pm in the library. Ages 0-3 years.
Tales & Treats
Kid’s book read-aloud with corresponding recipe bookmark & goodie bag to take home. We will be reading Sarah Sylvia Cynthia Stout Would Not Take the Garbage Out by Shel Silverstein. Every child will receive an Earth Day cookie kit!
Ages 6-11, space is limited to 15 children and reservations are required.
Gathering at Given with the USGA’s Janeen Driscoll
Information will include updates from the USGA on Golf House Pinehurst, what we can expect at the USGA Experience, and preparations for the 2024 U.S. Open Championship.

Gathering at Given
Tough Stump Technologies provides situation awareness systems and training for public safety, first responders and the military. They will be discussing how they applied drone technology and experience from military operations and disaster response to help counter poaching in Africa. Register to attend here!

Carolinas Golf Association FUNdation Day!
The Carolinas Golf Association hosted a day of play fundraiser to support the Tufts Archives. Formerly known as Green Friday, the newly named FUNdation Day was held at Pinehurst No. 4 on December 13th.

Given to Go - or Stay!
On Thursday, February 9th, the Given Tufts Foundation hosted Given to Go - or Stay! at the Given Tufts Bookshop. A delicious dinner was served by Elliott’s on Linden for either dine-in or take-out. The bookshop offered a door prize that included their new canvas tote with book lover’s gifts inside. If you couldn’t make it, we hope to see you at the next event!
